Updated bathroom. Strong shower + perfect location on the beach + nice bonfire lounge outdoors + wifi on beach and throughout the resort

- old scratchy sheets - old pillows, wish they had those nice cloud down pillows like at the W hotels. - Breakfast buffet was mediocre. Scramble egg, bacon, saugage, hash plus some fruit and danishes. At lest juice is available. - lots of stairs. be prepared to carry your luggage. - poor Verizon cell signal

Possibly the best and really unforgettable stay for the weekend. Beautiful building and rooms with balcony. The staff were wonderfully helpful and really helpful and food was good. Good choice of meals for breakfast, including pastries, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon. Easy check-in, parking nearby. Outdoor bar and lovely pool.

I loved the pool here, it was really nice! 🏊‍♂️ Also, had some tasty drinks at the outdoor bar. the room I stayed in was great, it had big windows that let in lots of light, a spacious balcony, and the view from there was just amazing.

This was my first visit to Gurney's Inn and after reading several internet reviews I was a bit skeptical about how my trip would turn out. I don't know where those people stayed, but my room, the food I ate, and the service I received, was outstanding!! The location is specatacular and views were mesmerizing!! I plan on returning sometime in the new future and recommending Gurney's to anyone who asks.

The updated rooms are a real plus. Unfortunately, I did not have time to use any of the spa facilities. I had dinner one evening. The food was good and the service staff friendly and professional. I would definitely stay again.

Disorganized staff. We were not told when dining the first night that an 18% tip is added to the bill. So we would up tipping 20% & then being charged an additional 18%.

After a great 2 days we were livid that 18% gratuity added for what?bait and switch so disappointed...we stay in nyc and all over the world without this kind of additional charge in very very small print...and manager still hasnt returned our call

The location of this place is amazing with a beachfront position and close to restaurants and a beautiful beach, despite showing some signs of aging in certain areas.
